Meet the Experts in our Live-Webinar: Practical Insights into Tubular UF for treatment, separation, concentration and recovery processes
Join us on Thursday, November 20, 3 PM CET for an exclusive webinar exploring the transformative potential of Direct Filtration in modern process and wastewater treatment. Whether you’re a plant operator, engineer, or decision-maker, this session will provide valuable insights into how Berghof’s tubular UF can streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve sustainability.
An introduction to the current market for Potential of tubular UF technology. What are the drivers, challenges and future potential of the technology?

Hygienic Tubular Membranes – enabling reliable Ultrafiltration in Food & Beverage applications.

Direct filtration examples with tubular membranes, focus on silica removal.

Using direct filtration for egg processing facilities and how this approach can greatly reduce TSS, BOD, TKN, and Phosphorous.

Elena Meabe is a Chemical engineer and holds a master degree in Environmental engineering. She is also a Doctor in Industrial Engineering, with her PhD research work focused on membrane bioreactor technology and the monitoring of membranes’ performance. To this day she possesses more than 15-years experience in filtration technology, mainly dealing with external tubular membranes.
Elena has a deep insight into the membrane technology for industrial wastewater treatment market.
She will moderate the webinar.

Jos van Dalfsen is Managing Director at Wafilin Systems, an OEM company specialized in advanced membrane filtration. His focus lies on developing sustainable membrane processes that help customers recover valuable ingredients, save energy in downstream processing, and enable water reuse, tailored to the customer’s process. Under his leadership, Wafilin Systems drives innovation in the food, dairy, and beverage industries.

Giancarlo Tanzi graduated in chemical Engineer at Politecnico di Milano (year 1989); after three years experience in chemical industry and an MBA master, he started working in membrane industry (year 1993). He developed technical and commercial experience on cross flow filtration technology with Osmonics, Desal, and GE. In 2000 Giancarlo joined two partners to develop activity of a small Italian distributor, company Sepra and he is still running this company together with Alessandro Pagano, son of one of the original partners. Sepra has now two facilities: original factory is located in Cesano Maderno with focus on membranes and accessories, membrane pilot plants and applications development. A second factory is located in Montecchio, dedicated to mechanical and electrical assembly of membrane skids.

Michael Butler is a sales engineer at Dynatec Systems. He has an bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from The Catholic University of America and an MBA from Drexel University. Michael has experience in providing water treatment solutions to municipalities and for the past 6 years has been working with industrial customers across North America to address their wastewater needs. Michael and Dynatec Systems have extensive experience in membrane systems including UF, NF, RO, and MBR. They have unique expertise with tubular UF systems which have been applied by Dynatec across may industries including automotive, food and beverage, and landfill leachate as well as numerous recovery and reuse applications.
