Water Softening:
Chemical Precipitation with Tubular Ultrafiltration

The combination of chemical precipitation and tubular ultrafiltration effectively removes hardness and impurities from water. This method is particularly advantageous for treating and reusing large volumes of water, such as cooling tower blowdown or RO brine.

Advantages:

  • Maximum efficiency in just one treatment step.
  • Economical operation due to reduced chemical consumption.
  • Tubular ultrafiltration allows operation at high solid concentrations.

Anaerobic MBR:
Energy-Efficient Wastewater Treatment with Biogas Production

The anaerobic membrane bioreactor (AnMBR) offers a compact, energy-efficient solution for highly organic wastewater while maximizing biogas production.

Advantages:

  • High organic degradation rates even with highly loaded wastewater.
  • Highest effluent quality among all available anaerobic technologies.
  • Biogas as a usable energy source, reducing operating costs.
  • High operational safety due to robust membrane technology with long service life.

Digestate Treatment:
Efficient Nutrient Recovery

Our membrane separation technology enables economical and environmentally friendly treatment of digestates in biogas plants.

Advantages:

  • Recovery of valuable materials (potassium, nitrogen, phosphorus) through targeted separation of solids and liquids.
  • Reduced disposal costs due to volume-reduced digestates.
  • Improved nutrient recycling for sustainable agricultural use.
  • Production of usable water for agricultural irrigation.

Aerobic MBR:
High-Performance Wastewater Treatment for Industrial Applications

The aerobic membrane bioreactor (MBR) enables highly efficient treatment of industrial wastewater and optional water reuse.

Advantages:

  • High control over fouling through adjustable crossflow (especially important for industrial wastewater).
  • Compact design with a small footprint and complete and easily accessible membrane modules out of tank.
  • High effluent quality, free of solids and bacteria, meeting the strictest environmental requirements.
  • Robust and low-maintenance, ideal for industrial applications with fluctuating loads.
  • Hygienic operation: no operator exposure to odors, volatile substances or aerosols due to the closed system.
