As we approach the end of 2024, Berghof Membranes is preparing for a significant milestone. On January 1, 2025, Eric Wildeboer, who has been an integral part of the company since 2003 and has served as CEO since 2008, will step down from his role. Under Eric’s visionary leadership, Berghof Membranes has grown into a global leader in membrane solutions. His strategic insight and tireless dedication have left an enduring legacy.
A strong team leads Berghof Membranes into the future
The transition of leadership ensures a bright future for Berghof Membranes. Starting January 2025, Tobias Steube, who has overseen global product management and marketing since the fall of 2023, will assume the role of CEO. Antonio Sempere, who has served as Global Sales Manager since 2020, will take on responsibility for the international branches—Berghof Membranes Iberia S.L. and Berghof Membranes Asia Pacific PTE Ltd.—as well as the Leeuwarden facility.
They will be supported by an experienced management team:

- Gunther Bisle, Head of Research & Development, Quality & Engineering
- Sjoerd Slagter, Sales & Customer Service
Together, this team will continue to drive innovation and deliver value to our customers, ensuring Berghof Membranes remains a leader in the industry.
